Vimy Ridge took place from 5:30am April 9th 1917 to April 12th 1917. If happened in Vimy France. The Canadian army did "the impossible" using strategy, planning and intelligence they took the Germans by surprise with rifles, barbed wire, guns, poison gas, air craft, tanks, airships, U boats, Q ships and artillery. The outcome was successful. They took Vimy Ridge from the Germans, the world recognized Canada's success and left Canadians proud.
